Back in August, I did a shoot for one of my all time fav bands Strung Out. Close to the end of the shoot, lead singer Jason Cruz asked if I could take a few snaps of him with his guitar, I though it strange as I’ve always know him to be strictly a vocalist. SO I went ahead and grabbed a few shots and carried on. I didn’t know what Jason wanted me to do with them, but hey, I shot ‘em anyway.

A Phoneography update for the first half of September. instagram: jimtoddphotography – twitter @jimtoddphoto.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything from this series, so I’ll explain the concept. Uh…I shoot people as they’re leaving my house. They are literally being shot next to my front door, blocking 3 light switches.
Now, with these particular shots, you may ask “Why are they leaving with drinks in their hands? Aren’t they driving?” Nope. These are my friends from the block. Our little cozy speck on this planet called Tufnell Drive. Ben, Shannon, Mel and Chris. This was a blast. Thanks to Ben for persuading me to do it.
So, it’s been awhile. A hectic schedule can do that. BUT! With the death of my fav photo app (Lightbox), I reluctantly made the move to Instagram (you can follow me at username JimToddPhotography). I must say, it revitalized my interest in this medium and further showed me just how powerful a device as simple as my Galaxy S can be. So, throw me a follow on Instagram (JimToddPhotography) or on twitter @jimtoddphoto.
